La French Tech is an international network of French innovative start-ups whose purpose is to promote the French know-how, innovation and expertise. It brings together start-ups as well as entrepreneurs, investors or research institutes. La French Tech undertakes to ensure the growth and the international prestige of French start-ups in France and abroad.
La French Tech Cambodge was launched on Thursday the 22nd October 2015 at the French Institute of Cambodia in the presence of H.E. Kan Chan Meta, Secretary of State of Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, H.E. Jean-Claude Poimboeuf, Ambassador of France to Cambodia and the founders of La French Tech Cambodge including Franck Touch, the CEO of KhmerDev. The company KhmerDev is the sponsor and partner of La French Tech Cambodge.
A major player on the IT scene in Cambodia, Franck Touch is now a founding member and a member of the executive committee of La French Tech Cambodia. The founders of the community in Cambodia also include Soreasmey Ke Bin, co-founder of the incubator Confluences or Paul Simbsler, co-founder of Sim & Ros Trade.
After La French Tech Viet and La French Tech Thai from the ASEAN zone, La French Tech Cambodge has joined the French Tech network.
